MonitorDog Update: Optimized Away Detection Settings
Reduce the inconvenience of the screen locking every time you momentarily look away, and experience a smarter security environment!
📝 Key Update Details
✨ Changes at a Glance
• Instead of locking the device immediately when a user is away, you can now set the device to lock only if the No Person event is maintained for a specified period.
🔄 What has changed?
🛡️ 1. Adjustable Detection Decision Time for No Person Event
Have you found it inconvenient when the screen locks immediately while checking documents or briefly looking away during work? Now, you can directly set the time to judge whether a user is actually in a No Person event.
- Setting Range: Minimum 1 second ~ Maximum 5 seconds
- How it works: The lock is activated only if the event is maintained from the moment of event detection until the set time has elapsed.
- Existing Method: Lock is executed immediately upon event detection.
- Improvement Effect: It ensures business continuity by preventing unnecessary frequent locking and provides optimized usability tailored to each user's individual work style.
If the Detection Decision Time is set long (e.g., 5 seconds) for all users, security levels may decrease. Please configure the optimal time based on each user's work environment and specific security requirements.
⚠️ Important Notes
- This feature is only supported on MonitorDog Agent version 1.1.3 or higher.
